8. Alexis Bledel Hates The Taste Of Coffee
In the world of the Gilmores, coffee is a HUGE deal. I don’t believe there’s a single episode where coffee hasn’t been visible on screen or least mentioned since Lorelai and Rory heavily rely on their caffeine fix (hence why Luke’s Diner would become such an important location within the show).
It must have been hard sometimes for Alexis Bledel who actually abhors the taste of coffee, despite her character loving it. The ‘coffee’ you see her drinking is coca cola. Even Lauren Graham occasionally got sick of the taste and would have to switch to water.
