20 TV Characters Who Deserve Their Own Spin-Off

6. The Todd (Scrubs)

todd Before there was Barney Stinson, the surgeon from Scrubs referred to simply as "The Todd" re-introduced the world to the subtle wonders of the high-five. The Todd epitomizes the stereotypes that exist within the walls of hospitals that surgeons are dim-witted and single-minded. Aside from his work in the operating room, which we learn early on in the series that he actually excels at, the Todd is focused merely on sex. While his antics verge on sexual harassment with essentially every syllable uttered, the Todd is a constant source of double entendres ("I'd double her entendre"). With his banana hammock in toe, the Todd tears through the halls of Sacred Heart hospital, propositioning anyone within earshot, his sexual preferences spanning both sexes, claiming to appreciate hotness "regardless of gender." Since its finale, there has been a noticeable lack of Todd-like characters on television, a hole which is in desperate need of being filled.
