2. Cersei & Jaime Lannister - Game Of Thrones
So we finally arrive at the Game Of Thrones entries, but who to include? There were just so, so many. It would be remiss, however, not to give special mention to Cersei and Jaime Lannister, the incestuous twin siblings at the heart of the series.
During Danaerys Targaryen's devastating assault on King's Landing, the merciless ruler and her knight in shining armour (yuck) attempt to escape through the cellar of the Red Keep, only to find their exit blocked by debris. With Cersei begging Jaime not to leave her to die, he tells her that nothing matters but them (yuck), and they share one final embrace before being crushed underneath the collapsing keep.
Of course, there were countless characters from this iconic series killed off in its final season, including but not limited to: Theon Greyjoy, Ser Jorah Mormont, The Night King, Melisandre, Missandei, Varys, Euron Greyjoy, The Hound and The Mountain.
