20 TV Episodes That Are Totally Flawless

16. What I Know - The Boys

If comedy's not what you're after, you might want to check out The Boys, a bloody, socially conscious spoof/homage of superhero fiction set in a world where heroes are idolised as celebrities but are far removed from the virtuous, cuddly champions they claim to be.

In the season two finale, the titular Boys - a group of non-supes intent on destroying the world's most popular superhero team - come face-to-face with their biggest and most despicable antagonist yet, whilst the show's most complex character Homelander slips further into a madness he can no longer control.

Explosive in both action and character face-offs, What I Know is both a magnificent conclusion to the season's most compelling arcs, as well a brutal tease for the future of the show.

Currently one of the best and most refreshingly original series on offer, The Boys promises to only get better, but will have to do something really special to top this particular episode.
