The new footage from Iron Man 3 was great, but it did not feel very fresh since it all took place during a sequence fans have seen over and over again in previous trailers and television spots for the film. Meanwhile, the trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire provided the first footage shown of the highly-anticipated sequel to 2012's unexpected box office behemoth. What's more is that the footage included in the trailer was great.

At this point, there is no complacency to be found in this very young franchise. Catching Fire looks bigger and bolder than its predecessor with a plot that delves into the dirtier aspects of class warfare. The idea of an enemy trying to destroy not only Katniss Everdeen's life, but the symbol she has become throughout the districts evokes feelings of The Dark Knight Rises, but such storytelling is reminiscent of the novels that inspired the film.

Jennifer Lawrence looks like she will shine as usual and the extended look at Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee suggests his role is a little bigger in the film than in Suzanne Collins' second Hunger Games novel. Be glad Lionsgate made sure to hire actors with genuine talent, as this film will need them to uphold its emotional weight. Expect the entire box office to be engulfed by Katniss and company once again this November.
