On Day 6, terrorists entered CTU and took most of the employees hostage on the main floor. Jack however was in a holding cell and convinced his guard to release him so he could retrieve his sister-in-law and nephew in the CTU lounge. While Jack was doing this, the head terrorist asked who of the hostages was in command. The person in command was Nadia Yassir, but in her frightened state, she hesitated when the question was posed. In that moment of hesitation, Milo Pressman - who was in love with Nadia - stood and claimed the position. The terrorist then proceeded to shoot him in the head, killing him.
5. Botched Plan
On Day 6, Jack discovered that Audrey Raines was alive and in Chinese captivity. He arranged a trade with Cheng, her captor: A Russian circuit board containing valuable information, for Audrey. Jack had planned to obtain Audrey and destroy the circuit board before Cheng could get away with it, but the plan failed. Jacks escapade to save Audrey allowed Cheng to obtain information that could potentially start a war.
