24: 15 Stupidest Things We Just Had To Go With

1. Dana Walsh

Although she€™s a talented actress, that didn€™t help Katee Sackhoff while she was playing CTU analyst Dana Walsh in season 8. While Jack and the rest of CTU was following down leads on the terrorist, Dana was trying to play damage control when her ex-boyfriend Kevin came back into her life. We learned that Dana used to be named Jenny Scott, and she had gone to jail as a minor before trying to build a new life when she was released early, but Kevin started to undo everything when he came back and blackmailed her into helping him pull off a heist. The whole storyline was a waste of time, but it wasn€™t until after it was resolved that Dana€™s character truly got convoluted. When Kevin€™s parole officer came asking for him (Kevin had been killed earlier in the evening), Dana tried stalling him, but it didn€™t work. So, like any reasonable person would do, she garrotted the man. Yes, it turns out that Dana was a mole in CTU helping out the Kamistani terrorists on orders from the Russian government. So, if she€™s such a skilled operative, why did it take her so long to solve her Kevin situation? Dana was already unlikable in the early episodes, but by the time Jack shot her at the end of the season, none of us were shedding a tear over her demise. Yeah, her character was that bad.
