24: 15 Stupidest Things We Just Had To Go With

11. From Public Phone To Cargo Ship In Less Than 15 Minutes

If you€™re going to enjoy 24, you€™ll have to suspend belief about how traffic works. Los Angeles, Washing D.C. and New York City may be some of the most crowded cities in the world, but if you live in the world of 24, you€™re guaranteed to arrive at your destination in 20 minutes or less. It doesn€™t make much sense, but then again, it wouldn€™t be very fun to watch Jack sit in traffic for a whole episode. However, the last episode of season 5 takes this to a new level, and it€™s unbelievable even for 24. After exposing Charles Logan€™s treachery, Jack is informed that he has a call from his daughter. When he goes to the phone, masked men kidnap him. This happens around 6:49. In the last scene of the season, Jack is brought into a dark room, where it€™s revealed that the Chinese have kidnapped him in retaliation for his actions in season 4. We eventually see that Jack is on a container ship that€™s left the LA harbor and bound for Shanghai. That€™s right, in the span of less than 10 minutes, Jack was drugged, driven who knows how many miles and dumped onto a ship that was able to travel a fair distance into the ocean. We all know things work quickly in 24, but this is ridiculous.
