24: 15 Stupidest Things We Just Had To Go With

10. Tony Almeida€™s Resurrection

24 may be based in a heightened reality world (how else do you explain Jack being able to 75% of each season's terrorists), but there€™s one constant: if you€™re dead, you€™re staying dead. There€™s no coming back...unless you€™re Tony Almeida, that is. After being injected with hyoscine pentothal, Tony appeared to die in Jack€™s arms, leading to one of the show€™s most tragic moments. However, our first hint that all was not what it seemed was when Tony didn€™t get a silent clock. If anyone deserved a silent clock, it€™s Tony! Though the show-runners confirmed that Tony had died, this decision was reversed at the start of season 7. We soon learned Henderson, who made sure that the injection wasn€™t lethal, sent his men to smuggle Tony out of CTU. Clinically dead for 10 minutes, Tony was revived and became a member of Emerson€™s crew, fighting the government for over four years. To be fair, hyoscine pentothal is a fictional compound, so the writers could make up whatever rules for how it worked. While that didn€™t make it any less weird to see Tony reappear in season 7, we mostly let it go since we were glad to see him back in the game...although with how his storyline turned out by the end of that season, maybe he should have stayed dead.
