14. Arrested Development

Fargo
Fox

IMDb Score: 9.1

There's rarely anything funnier in sitcoms than a dysfunctional family, and Arrested Development is the greatest example of that. The Bluths - a formerly wealthy and large family headed by a mother and father team that haven't the first clue about parenting - are barely held together by their son Michael when his Pop gets sent to jail.

Frequently undermined and ridiculed for his attempts at normality, Jason Bateman as Michael gives a brilliant performance as the 'straight man'. Arrested Development may be an exaggerated portrayal of a dysfunctional family, but it's relatable.
