24. Cassandra Possessing Rose And Fondling Her "Nice Rear Bumper"
Cringe. The final moments of Doomsday were so beautifully tragic that it's hard to believe the same series began with an episode in which Billie Piper bounced up and down in front of a mirror whilst she fondled her "nice rear bumper". In its defence, New Earth was specifically written to give David Tennant and Billie Piper the chance to stretch their comedic muscles. It's just a real shame the intended hilarity got lost somewhere along the way. Being possessed by the self-proclaimed 'last human', Lady Cassandra, was always going to go one way or another but unfortunately an interesting villain was reduced to a posher version of Rose who spent the entire episode murdering the otherwise amicable art of Cockney slang whilst coming dangerously close to breaching the pre-watershed guidelines with her carelessly low cut top. Seriously. One more button and Ofcom would've got involved...
