Most people will likely have pieced it together by that point, but in Atom-Smasher’s final moments he reveals that he had been sent by Zoom.

Earlier in the episode, the rogue had mocked The Flash as he’d been told that the Scarlet Speedster was a force to be reckoned with. Of course, it’s easy to poke fun when you’re happy pummelling your opponent and choking the life out of him.

With the tables turned later in the episode and Atom-Smasher taking his last breaths, he reveals that “He promised he’d take me home if I killed you.”

That “he” was then revealed to be none other than Zoom, the terror who is set to be the ‘big bad’ of Season 2.

All we've seen of Zoom to date is the above blurry image that was part of a recent CW promo, but what's for sure is that he's going to be making Barry Allen's life hell throughout this new season.
