28 WTF Moments From The Flash's Season 2 Premiere

3. Party Pooper

The Flash Henry Allen
The CW

So with Harrison Wells having left a video confession concerning the death of Nora Allen, it was time for poor Henry Allen to be freed from prison after being wrongly convicted of killing his wife.

That’s a time for celebration, right?

Cue cake, drinks and a bit of a party. Only Henry decides to poop all over this particular party by telling Barry that he’s about to leave Central City.

Whilst his line of “Central City doesn’t need you to be Henry Allen’s son. It needs you to be The Flash” was indeed understandable, it was certainly a swift kick in the nuts for Barry after finally being able to see his dad become a free man.

The conversation between Barry and Henry certainly highlighted the great bond between the two, and the chemistry between Grant Gustin and John Wesley Shipp is a true highlight of the show, meaning it’ll be a huge shame if Henry is indeed gone from The Flash for the foreseeable future.
