28 WTF Moments From The Flash's Season 2 Premiere

22. Barry Sees Himself As An Undeserving Hero

The Flash Season 2
The CW

The last time we saw the Sultan of Speed, he was doing his best to save Central City by closing down an over-excited wormhole that had opened up in the heavens.

When we pick things up in Season 2, all is seemingly well and so presumably Barry did what all good heroes do: he saved the day. In fact, so good was he at this hero malarkey that Central City is recognising his work by having a ‘Flash Day’ and giving him the key to the city.

If that’s that case, then why do we find young Mr Allen chastising himself and saying he doesn’t deserve to be recognised as any sort of hero.

There’s clearly more to this than meets the eye, and it wouldn’t be long until we’d find out what really went on.
