3 Ups & 2 Downs From Doctor Who Series 12 - Fugitive Of The Judoon
2. Captain Jack Is Back!
After not appearing in Who since having a short cameo in The End of Time Part 2 in 2010, John Barrowman's Captain Jack Harkness is back, and is as dashing as ever. Even though he served very little purpose in the plot of Fugitive of the Judoon specifically (which I've already elaborated), he brings a lot to the table regarding Series 12 as a whole (which I will elaborate on shortly).
Even with a new showrunner and writers, Jack has been written perfectly, and has taken the news of The Doctor being a 'she' in the only way Jack would. We haven't seen the last of him though, as he's sure to reappear either toward the the end of the series, or occasionally throughout the next few episodes. Hearing about Jack's adventures behind the scenes is definitely exciting, but coming face to face with what would be his third Doctor really takes the cake.
