4. Dogtanian & The Three Muskerhounds
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-xO72s5EBY "One for all and all for one, Muskerhounds are always ready!" This Japanese/Spanish collaboration animation was dubbed for English transmission in 1985, lasting for 52 episodes. The theme tune was incredibly catchy, with the very yappy "da-da-da, da-da-da" prompting thousands of kids to join in for a sing-along. It was a pretty damn good cartoon as well - real quality (especially for that era). 3. Fraggle Rock
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_zsz_MlVvI "Dance your cares away! *Clap clap* Worries for another day! Let the music play! *Clap clap* Down at Fraggle Rock!" Is there a human being on the planet - regardless of their age - who wouldn't recognise the Fraggle Rock theme tune if it was played to them? It was epic and truly iconic. The show originally ran from the start of 1983 for just over four years and was a Jim Henson production (complete with Muppets) that was produced from Canada. Great show, great adventures, immense theme music (and we all made up rude lyrics to sing along to it with - you know the ones).
