2. Denver The Last Dinosaur
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLlibrF5DRM "Denver the last dinosaur, he's my friend and a whole lot more!" Although nobody wanted to know what the "whole lot more" consisted of, we all loved this theme song to death. Running from 1988 to 1990, Denver was hardly the greatest cartoon to come out of the 1980s (his adventures in modern times were fun enough, but nothing spectacular), but the theme tune was unbelievably memorable (and the sequence with Denver himself playing guitar during the intro was incredibly cute).
1. DuckTales
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAAKU9UxOeU Fantastic! Such a great cartoon and such a brilliant, brilliant theme tune. DuckTales followed the adventures of the incredibly rich - and incredibly tight-fisted - Scrooge McDuck and his three nephews; Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Produced by Disney, the show had real quality and ran from 1987 to 1990 and the theme tune was the single best thing about it (which really says something). Lively, catchy and generally fully of happy feelings, we all couldn't help but join in - and it gets the number one spot in this list, hands down. So come on, sing along right now! "Life is like a hurricane here in Duckburg Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes, it's a duck-blur! Might solve a mystery Or rewrite history! DuckTales! Woo-oo! Everyday they're out there making DuckTales! Woo-oo! Tales of derring-do bad and good Luck Tales! Woo-oo! D-d-d-danger! Watch behind you! There's a stranger out to find you What to do, just grab on to some... DuckTales! Woo-oo! Everyday they're out there making DuckTales! Woo-oo! Tales of derring-do bad and good Luck Tales! Woo-oo! Not pony tales or cotton tales, no, DuckTales! Woo-oo!" Superb.
