6. Inspector Gadget

Arguably, the most memorable thing about the show that centred around a bumbling cyborg police inspector was the very appealing theme tune. "Doo doo doo doo doo Inspector Gadget" - it's simple, but very effective! And the "go Gadget go" segment was equally as catchy. Fun all round.

5. Count Duckula

Running from 1988 to 1993, this was a really fun cartoon with the titular character interacting with his supporting cast, such as Igor and Nanny, for humorous outcomes on a weekly basis. But the theme tune was spectacular. Starting with the hilarious error on the part of Nanny that sees her bring tomato ketchup (instead of blood) for a resurrection ritual, this theme bursts in to song with diva Doreen Edwards belting out the lyrics alongside supporting vocalist Mike Harding. Everybody now! "In the heart of Transylvania...".
