Status: This series is in development for USA Network from DC Entertainment. Pitch: Josh Jaffe, a neurotic family man, buys a "smart pill" to increase his focus. He finds it instead (or also?) gives him incredible strength and power. The story examines the highs and lows of being a real-life superhero. Odds of Success Onscreen: Below average. There's nothing to judge but a concept at this point, but the concept doesn't give much of a hook that we haven't seen fairly often before ("real-life superhero," oh boy). The way it was pushed into production before a single issue hit the stands may indicate confidence, but may just be haste.
