32 WTF Moments From Marvel's Jessica Jones

7. Mummy€™s Boy

It was a major shock to see Kilgrave€™s mother revealed to be a part of Malcolm€™s victim support group, but things only went from bad to worse for her once she ended up reunited with her son. Jessica€™s plan was for the presence of Kilgrave€™s parents to send the rogue off the deep end. Whilst this did indeed happen, it didn€™t end well for Kilgrave€™s mother as he made her stab herself to death with a pair of scissors. This led to a brilliantly shot escape for the show€™s villain as he told his father to cut his own heart out, had Trish relentlessly trying to put a bullet in her skull, and even has a grizzled cop nearly take off his own hand as he attempts to free himself from some handcuffs. This was a truly awesome scene and firmly left Jessica with blood on her hands, even if it also served to establish that Kilgrave can no longer control Jones.

6. Baby Blues

In a disgusting WTF moment, we find out that Jeri Hogarth actually kept Hope€™s aborted baby with the plan of seeing if Kilgrave€™s powers could be replicated. By this point, Hogarth had already been established as a bit of an ass and so when Kilgrave commanded Wendy to dish out death by 1,000 cuts to her former lover, you were kind of cheering on the mind-controlled doctor. Luckily new flame Pam was around to stop Wendy. And by stop, I totally mean kill. As Jessica put it, what Hogarth did (as in cutting the electric wire going to Kilgrave€™s cell) was murder, but what Pam did was self-defence.
