The hunt for Rye's killers inevitably lead the Gerhardts to Peggy and Ed's door, where Peggy sits in the company of Sheriff Hank Larsson (Ted Danson), eager to get to the bottom of matters. Trucks pull up outside and a cattle prod-wielding Dodd approaches the house while Hanzee sneaks around to take out Hank on the porch. Peggy, it seems, is a little more difficult to tackle, and after leading Dodd and his men into her tunnel-like network of magazines in the basement she miraculously relieves Dodd of his cattle prod and proceeds to thrust it repeatedly into his chest. Lesson learned? Never underestimate Peggy.
