19. "Massacre" #4 - A Six Death Opening Montage
Episode 7 kicks off with a whole host of tit for tat killings between the Gerhardts and the Kansas City mob, with shootings, stranglings and drowning all coming into play as the violence escalates. Okay, so this technically isn't a massacre, but the way in which the sequence is edited creates a barrage of carnage which feels like one. Again, the directing puts Fargo at the top of its game, as thrilling to watch as anything else on television.
