4 Canceled TV Series With Decent Finales

3. The Class (2006)

The Class The Class aired on CBS for 1 season that consisted of 19 episodes. It starred Lizzy Caplan, Jason Ritter and made a star of Jesse Tyler Ferguson in one of, what I consider to be, the funniest sitcom characters ever. Now they've all gone onto bigger and better things (well, Jason was on The Event, so that's questionable in his case) but The Class was such a great premise, was so funny and when it was emotional, it was emotional. It was so wonderful and yet nobody remembers it, it seems. However, while there's some nagging threads left by the finale like Nicole and Duncan's relationship and Ethan's feelings for Kat coming to light finally, the one story they did wrap up and end on a happy note with was the one that The Class was ultimately becoming about...Richie & Lina. An absolutely adorable story with absolutely adorable characters, they still stand as my favorite TV couple of all time and I'm so happy they ended the "series" the way they did with them being the final scene saying what they say. Because I was so invested and the story was so invested in their relationship and it gets resolved to a beautiful place, it really does lessen the sting of losing the show altogether. The Class isn't on DVD and only the first 13 of 19 episodes are available on Amazon on Demand, but if you can find it, do so. You won't regret it. Yes it has a laugh track, but look past that. I beg you.
