4 Ups & 1 Down From Doctor Who Series 12 - Praxeus

1. The Episode Was Masterfully Written And Executed

The Doctor Praxeus
BBC

Overall, Praxeus was spectacularly devised and produced. Juggling multiple, converging story threads throughout the first half of the episode without the pacing or relevance feeling off at all was television perfection, something we probably weren't expecting over a semi-turbulant few years of the show. Pete McTighe (who previously wrote series 11's Kerblam!), in collaboration with Chris Chibnall wrote a masterpiece script, only hindered by Orphan 55 tainting the otherwise good message.

No singular 'monster of the week' tying things down meant this world-hopping adventure was executed brilliantly, with the Praxeus threat still feeling as omnipresent and dangerous as ever. The final four episodes of Series 12 have a lot to live up to, and I'm especially excited to see what McTighe has for the future of Doctor Who.

But what did you think of 'Praxeus?' Let me know down in the comments!

Born in Theatre, sits at a Computer. After over a decade of tinkering with Video Editing software, Rich gets to spend his precious time editing whatever's thrown at him. Also the go-to for Doctor Who, and could tell you why Sans Serif fonts are better than most. Still occasionally tap dances under the desk.
