4 Ups & 7 Downs From Doctor Who - Revolution Of The Daleks

2. Captain Jack Is BACK

After a fleeting cameo in Series 12's 'Fugitive of the Judoon', the iconic and arguably universally-loved Captain Jack Harkness is back. John Barrowman was truly excited to get back on-board the TARDIS, and it was truly great to see him. Though this has been given an 'Up' in my book, his return wasn't all-perfect.

Similar to the aforementioned cameo, Jack's role in 'Revolution' didn't have to be Jack. None of the events of the episode would've played out any differently if it were another character in his shoes. Saying that, seeing Captain Jack in a slightly more significant role this time around was a true delight, and perhaps this will open the door for another return in the future? Or even a reboot of Torchwood?
