While Alfie Allen's experience on Game of Thrones seems to have been a positive one in the end, the process of working on the series had some profound impacts on his psyche during filming.

It's unlikely that he regrets being part of the show, but there's no doubt that he hated his time on set, as Allen has discussed how much of a toll the filming took on him. In an interview with Elle, he talked about all the work he did to manifest the character's torture in his mind, and how "pain is something you need to experience yourself", which caused filming to be "really hard" for him.
