5 HUGE Plot Holes You Didn't Notice In Crisis On Infinite Earths

4. Characters Mysteriously Disappeared Midway Through

An extension of the previous point, characters who did manage to weave their way into Crisis On Infinite Earths ended up mysteriously disappearing midway through it. And yes, before you say it, we're very well aware of the fact that the antimatter wave wiped them all out. The point is that, when the universe was restored not a single person thought the need to mention their name, simply because it would draw attention to their absence. Ironically, the lack of explanation ended up doing that instead.

Iris West-Allen was always going to play a major role in the Crisis and, upon doing so, she never got her chance to feature in the final installment and share a reunion with her beloved Barry. Similarly, Cisco Ramon had his powers restored by The Monitor and helped Earth-90 Flash save the multiverse. However, upon the rebirth, he was nowhere to be seen and, instead, Killer Frost, Heat Wave and Black Lightning held down S.T.A.R. Labs while Team Arrow's Dinah Drake randomly decided to do the comms work.

Again, this was also undoubtedly down to financial reasons (in terms of which actors could appear in which episodes and so forth), but it did take away from the final offering - making the heroes look unprepared for the final battle and robbing fans of some of the emotional payoffs they had been waiting years for.
