5 Radio Plays That Prove a Firefly Radio Show Would Work

5. Spock vs. Q

In 1996, Star Trek alumni Leonard Nimoy and John de Lancie---Spock and Q respectively---founded Alien Voices. A production company devoted to the radio style dramatization of classic science fiction. The company adapted many classics, such as The Time Machine and A Journey to the Center of the Earth---but with both Nimoy and de Lancie involved it was inevitable that the Galaxy€™s most irrepressible omnipotent trouble maker would encounter the Galaxy€™s most logical Vulcan. In Spock vs. Q these two formidable forces engage in a battle of wits that is both hilarious and poignant. A sequel followed that only pushed the limits further, expanding these beloved characters as well as the actors' skills in bringing them to life. To their credit these two actors flawlessly executed Star Trek's transition off of both the big and the small screens and into our radios.
