5 Reasons Arrow Could Become Extraordinary

3. Appeals To All Fans

Green Arrow How does a show based on comics be both based on comics and not? It€™s been done successfully in the past, and Arrow follows suit. Many of the villains that Queen has faced this season €“ Deadshot, Blackhawks, Deathstroke, Firefly €“ they are all coming out of the DC mythos. There are new takes on origin stories, but holding just enough to their creeds that die-hard comic fans could relate to and enjoy. And yet, for their somewhat bizarre appearances, there is a seamless transition for all of these villains and characters that the casual audience member can follow and understand. A psychopath with a flamethrower and wings becomes a former fireman out for vengeance. A paramilitary strike force becomes Blackwater-esque security company. A deadly assassin who never misses becomes€well, he€™s pretty much the same. These new takes on classic characters are sure to both intrigue die-hard fans and newcomers to the comic book genre.
