5 Reasons NBC's Dracula Should Have A Second Season

1. Rhys Meyers: Good Choice Or Big Mistake?

And finally, the biggest reason of all is Jonathan Rhys Meyers himself. It's no secret that he's a bit of a wild card and I'm sure that his reputation adds to the allure of him playing the Dark Prince himself. However, it's also no secret that NBC withheld part of his salary as an incentive for him to not drink and wreck everything. Though it worked the first time, who's to say if they can bottle the same lightning? The advantage that NBC has is that JRM has a massive fan base full of sexually-frustrated fans who will be tuning in to series two, and they'll talk about it all day every day until it ends, and then they'll talk about the ending, and then their friends will watch it etc. You get the point. We've watched The Tudors; we've watched the JRM Filmography list on IMDB. We want more Dracula. We want it here and we want it now . You guys are going to sign the petitions and write in angry letters until the creative team get back on their typewriters or whatever and make it happen.
