3. Celebrity Guest Interviews
Most late night talk shows have celebrity guest interviews, that's nothing special at all. Most shows have the celebrities on so they could promote their new movie, a show they star in or perhaps a new album of an artist. The Pete Holmes Show doesn't do that whatsoever. Pete has mostly comedians, actors, people he think will be entertaining or people he just wants to talk to on air. Some guests have included: Marc Maron (above), Kumail Nanjiani, Chelsea Peretti, Anthony Jeselnik, Nick Kroll, John Mulaney and Bill Burr. None of these guys are paparazzi chased actors like a Tom Cruise or a Will Smith, they are just funny people that riff well with Pete because they are most of them are good friends with Pete off camera. Pete became known for making his guests comfortable enough to talk about anything and everything including sex, religion and relationships the same way he did on his podcast "You Made it Weird".
