5 TV Shows We Miss

3. Boy Meets World

If you are my age, or old enough to be my parents, then you are quite familiar with one of ABC's classic TGIF family sitcoms from the 90's. Boy Meets World (along with Doug, another honorable mention) was my generations version of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. The show followed Cory Matthews, played by Ben Savage, as he stumbled his way through life. At his aid was his best friend Shawn Hunter played by Ryder Strong (best name ever) and Cory's brother Eric played by Will Friedle. Rounding out the cast was William Daniels as Cory's neighbor and school teacher/principle/college professor Mr. George Feeny. The show ran for about 7 years and in that time we saw the characters age, marry, get drunk, steal things, work for the mob, time travel, grow lame mustaches, live in teacher's homes with them, wrestle various WWF personalities, have crossover episodes with Sabrina the Teenage Witch, cheat on Topanga... God that was a hard couple months... Now sure it was time for the show to wrap up eventually but that doesn't mean I can't publicly pray for a Boy Meets World Reunion someday. Even Mr. Feeny is still alive so there is nothing standing in the way. It's not like Ben Savage is really above such a thing anyway. Thank You Boy Meets World! I miss you!

He also likes macaroni and cheese a lot. And bacon...
