2. Threesome
Every now and then, us Brits come up with an amazing TV show: there was The Office, there was Gavin & Stacey, and now there is Threesome. The story of a couple and their gay best friend who find themselves pregnant is wholly original. The cast work incredibly well together, often finding themselves stuck in precarious situations. The chemistry is there right from the get go. But one of the great things about the show is that everything is linked. The show never deviates from the overall arching plot. You never get a sense that something has been chucked into an episode to waste time. In the same vein, nothing ever feels forced. The situations are authentic and real. A third season has yet to be announced, but there was talk of upping the episode count if the second season proved to be popular. That was a year ago. Comedy Central are currently rerunning and promoting the stuffing out of the series so everything looks dandy and green. Hopefully with this stronger promotional push, Threesome will establish the audience it deserves.
