5 Ups & 2 Downs From Doctor Who Series 12 - The Haunting Of Villa Diodati
1. The Finale Set-Up
It transpires that The Haunting of Villa Diodati plays out as almost a first part to a now-three-part finale, similar to how Seires 3's Utopia very smoothly led into the events of The Sound of Drums and The Last of the Time Lords. With the coordinates kindly sourced from Percy, Team TARDIS now head back to the future to confront the Lone Cyberman again.
We know exactly what The Doctor needs to do, but we have no idea what's going to come between her, and saving the billions of people she has supposedly now condemned to death. Is this where Jack comes back into the picture? Does the Fugitive Doctor play into these events? Does the Timeless Child and/or The Master show up ? Unlike Series 11's single-part finale, we know pretty much what we're in for next week, and Sunday cannot come soon enough.
