3. Rachel Riley
To anyone that hasn't seen Countdown in a good few years, Rachel Riley is - in a nutshell - a younger and better looking model of Carol Vorderman. The 27 year old isn't your typical Essex gal - she has a mathematics degree from Oxford University and despite only being 23 when she first joined Countdown, she holds one of the cleverest jobs in British TV and probably will for a good few years yet, too. Rachel, similar to Claire Danes, is a bit of an alternative girl next door, who - despite her stunning looks and intelligence which could be described as the full package to some - isn't quite "pin up" material, which could easily convince your average guy into thinking he had a chance with her. Riley also co-hosts The Gadget Show on Channel 5 with Jason Bradbury and was also a contestant on the 2013 series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she was eliminated in week five, despite a couple of flaunty performances with dance partner Pasha Kovalev. She may have also won her male fans over whilst appearing on 8 Out of Ten Cats Does Countdown, a comedy spin-off based on the show hosted by Jimmy Carr. But if the high education, busy career and intense job wasn't enough to put you off, she is unfortunately married anyway... so basically I'm saying give up on this one.
