3. Legends Of Tomorrow's Unique Team Dynamic
While DC's Legends of Tomorrow doesn't look set to premiere until next year, the show still had a presence at this year's New York Comic Con. Of course, as the concept of the series will factor into this year's big Arrow/The Flash crossover episode, it's easy to understand why The CW wanted to remind fans why they should be excited for the spinoff which will revolve around a group of time travelling heroes (and villains) hoping to stop the immortal Vandal Savage under the guidance of Rip Hunter. Not a lot of specifics about the series were revealed during this part of the panel, but there were certainly some interesting hints about this team of ragtag characters are going to be working together. It appears as if one of the biggest draws is going to be watching the relationship between the reincarnated Hawkman and Hawkgirl play out, especially as she has no memory of him. In fact, showrunner Phil Klemmer strongly hinted that the duo may end up meeting past versions of themselves at some point! That won't be Legends of Tomorrow's only romance though, as two other characters are also expected to hook up at some point. Their identities weren't revealed, but there are certainly some very interesting combinations which could arise when you take into account what an unusual group of characters this team is made up of! Doctor Who alum Arthur Darvill also dropped a very interesting tease about why exactly Hunter travels back in time in the first place: "Hes from a future hes not particularly happy with, he said. Hes come back for various reasons to get this rag-bag team of nut cases together." That prompted laughter from those in attendance, but with Reverse-Flash mentioning Rip during season one of The Flash, it's going to be interesting to see if his apparent erasure from time is going to play any sort of role here...
