6 Major DC Comics TV Reveals At New York Comic Con

2. Green Arrow Unmasked

In comparison to The Flash's sizzle reel, Arrow's actually revealed very little. That's partly because it was mostly made up of footage from the premiere and scenes focusing on Batman villain Anarky (who is set to be introduced in this week's episode of the recent rejuvenated CW series), but look closely enough, and there were still some very cool moments. For example, there's a shot of the now resurrected Sara Lance standing alongside her sister Laurel (a.k.a. Black Canary) and Speedy, a very cool moment which is no doubt going to play out well in the show, making fans of this trio of female superheroes very happy indeed. How The Canary goes from here to suiting up as The White Canary in Legends of Tomorrow is a mystery for the time being, it looks like she'll be heading straight back into action after taking a dunk in the Lazarus Pit, an event which is actually going to bring Matt Ryan's Constantine - also briefly spotted here - to Star City. The trailer's two other major reveals come from Felicity watching a video of a bedraggled looking Ray Palmer clearly in some sort of trouble and the villainous Damien Darhk about to unmask Green Arrow. While the latter is quite possibly a fake out (we don't actually see the unmasking happen, so something suddenly happening to distract Darhk is one of those superhero tropes which could happen here too), Ray's return to Arrow is definitely unexpected. After all, the majority of Arrow fans have theorised that he shrunk to save himself from that explosion at the end of season three and may have then immediately been drafted by Rip Hunter, but it definitely look like he's in some sort of predicament. What that will be remains to be seen, but after a very strong start to the season, things are definitely looking up for Arrow.
