6 Reasons Why Warner Bros. Cancelling DC Universe Would Be A HUGE Mistake

It may sound dramatic, but the current cultural landscape would be entirely different if not for DC. So many characters and stories have copied those first used for Superman and Batman, that to imagine a world without them now seems unthinkable. DC Comics is a stalwart of popular culture, with some of their most famous headlines even being reported on in the news, such as the Death of Superman. These are characters that have grown with the world, and changed to reflect it.

Television now is expected to hit hard early, and make a big impression straight away, but that wasn't always the case. It's only because the marketplace is so crowded these days that networks have to rely on guaranteed hits, instead of allowing slow burners time to grow. And yet DC already has its hits.

The shows DC has need to be given the chance to reach their potential, especially now they've shown that there is an appetite for them. Every fan of pop culture really just wants shows to be as good as they can be, and DC is proving that they're on the way to providing that.

And if there's no more DC Universe, then we have to rely on whatever the f**k they're doing with the movies right now.

And no-one wants that.
