I'll be honest, when Titans was first announced, I was not entirely hopeful it would be a good show. Same with Doom Patrol, and the same with Swamp Thing. And every time I've been surprised to be wrong. Of course only now with past precedents and multiple failed DC TV shows could we find our way to such odd characters being presented faithfully on screen.

When I first read Grant Morrison's run on Doom Patrol, it didn't even occur to me that I could see Robotman rendered in live action. And Jesus Christ, if someone had told me that he would also be played by George of The Jungle himself, I would have hung my head for the mistakes of my culture's future. But as it turns out, Brendan Fraser performance in Doom Patrol is one of its highlights, as it sits pretty with a 95% critic rating.

Titans, a show about a tortured sidekick, an emo witch, a literal alien and a green Animorph all teaming up to fight a hell demon has a 79% rating.

Swamp Thing, a show that, let's not forget, is called Swamp Thing has a 92% rating.

And naturally Young Justice remains one of the best animated shows around after it moved to the service, so no surprises there. And while it's a small sample size, few networks or services can boast such a high average quality.
