4. Legends Bounces Back

DC's Legends of Tomorrow has long been the Arrowverse's most enjoyable show. After a promising but lacklustre first season, it found the right balance between heroism and hilarity to produce two seasons of absolutely bonkers brilliance. Unfortunately, Season 4 took things too far in the corny direction and proved that you really can have too much of a good thing.

Thankfully, the fifth season - which kicked off with a Crisis On Infinite Earths special - brought the show back to where it needed to be with a much-improved storyline that actually felt like it could be taken seriously.

Yes, there were still issues and no, it wasn't the show's best offering, but it did mark something of a comeback for the show that didn't veer too far into the crazy in a bid to creative. And that proved that even less is more on Legends of Tomorrow.

Let's just hope it continues that upward trajectory into Season 6 next year.
