7 Cancelled TV Shows That Deserve A Kickstarter Project

1. Chuck (2007)

ChuckS3W I feel greedy to even ask for more Chuck. Fans of the NBC spy comedy like myself were blessed with five seasons of this excellent show. Almost every year after its first season, NBC was on the verge of cancelling it, but because of its diehard fan base (and Subway sandwiches) the show was able to last long enough to give fans closure. The show was about a geeky slacker named Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) as he works at an electronic store called the Buy More with his best friend Morgan (Joshua Gomez) and lives at home with his sister Ellie (Sarah Lancaster). After receiving a mysterious email from a Bryce (Matt Bomer), a former classmate/worst enemy, Chuck€™s brain downloads a experimental government weapon called the Intersect. The Intersect contains all of the United States government€™s secrets and it turns Chuck from a slacker into a valuable asset. Since he in untrained, Chuck is protected from other interested parties by CIA agent Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) and an NSA agent John Casey (Adam Baldwin). Under their protection, Chuck becomes an under qualified yet highly effective spy for the United States government. Nerd Herd fans received the best news recently when Zachary Levi announced that he was attempting to start a Kickstarter for a Chuck film. He has spoken to the cast members and they all seem to be on board as well, Levi just needs permission from the studio. Chuck fans already were grateful to see five seasons of the quirky action packed show, and the series did give fans closure while leaving room for a possible movie adaptation. It would be the perfect show to be brought back in some capacity.
