Jesse is Breaking Bad's most tragic figure, with his life ruined in a number of ways through his business relationship with Walter White. There was, of course, Jane in Season 2, but he came close to happiness again in Season 4 with Andrea and her son, Brock.

Jesse built up a firm bond with the kid, who was almost killed by Walt, and when Andrea dies it's believed he's sent to live with his grandmother, although it's never actually confirmed.

With Jesse having been through such a traumatic experience, Brock is the one link he has left to happiness. At the very least, he'd want to check up on him and see how he's doing, even if he might not want to disrupt his life. Alternatively, though, with Brock similarly not having many people left, they could be there for each other, and through Brock the movie can do something the TV show couldn't fully: give Jesse a real happy ending.
