7 Ideas For The New Arrowverse Show In 2020
4. Superman
If you watch Supergirl or watched last year's Elseworlds event, you already know why a brand new Superman show would be fantastic. Tyler Hoechlin has only had a few appearances here and there in the Arrowverse, but every time he completely knocks it out of the park. Hoechlin ditches the angst and brooding that followed him throughout his tenure on Teen Wolf and instead inhabits the optimism and boyish charm that are inseparable from the essence of Superman.
With a great Superman nailed down, the rest of the show just flows into place thanks to the heavy lifting of Supergirl over the years, already establishing many villains and some world-building elements. Superman could go toe-to-toe with a resurrected Lex Luthor (as hinted by Monitor stealing his body) while Supergirl proceeds with new antagonists; the shows could co-exist without much interference from either.
In an alternative route, a Superman series could focus on his and Lois' time spent on Argo City when having their child. By relocating the show to the cosmos, it would give Superman a more cosmic feel and bring a more direct conflict with celestial beings and threats.
