4. It's Way Past Time For Goku's Character To Evolve

Don't get me wrong. Goku is one of my favorite characters of all time, be it in comic books, anime, or movies, but it's about time for some change and growth. Every single one of the main characters in Dragon Ball has changed over time. Gohan went from a cry baby, to the most powerful known being, to a book worm. Piccolo, who was once the greatest threat to the planet, became a (much needed) father figure and mentor. Vegeta started of as an intergalactic terrorist, turned ally, turned friend, family man, and protector. All of the fan-favorite's have undergone changes, except for the main protagonist. Sure, we all love Goku's lighthearted and goofy nature, but the guy has remained the same throughout the whole series. There needn't be any huge changes, but him gaining a few more characteristics wouldn't hurt. Piccolo giving him some tips on how to be an actual father to Goten might be a start.
