7 Reasons Rachel Is An Utterly Horrible Character In Friends

4. The One Where She Went On Ross & Emily's Honeymoon After Indirectly Playing A Part In Their Failed Marriage

As if it wasn't bad enough that Rachel initially traveled to London on the eve of her friend's wedding to Emily, the niece of Rachel's boss to tell Ross she loved him. Yet although she kept schtum in the end, it was her appearance at the wedding that played a part in Ross' second failed marriage. Ross ended up saying Rachel's name during the nuptials, but the wedding did still go ahead. However, his new wife Emily then locked herself in the bathroom and subsequently escaped through the window, leaving Ross failing in his search for her before having to tell Emily parents to pass on a message to his wife that he will be waiting at the airport for their honeymoon. Rachel bumps into Ross at the airport as she struggled to get a flight back, and with the last boarding call Ross foolishly asks her to join him on the honeymoon. Even more foolishly, Rachel accepts his offer and boards the plane at the same time Emily returns for Ross but sees the pair almost jetting off together. Rachel is left to fly alone as Ross tries to get Emily back, but why on earth Rachel felt it necessary to be involved once again in Ross' marriage is beyond me. After Ross said Rachel's name at the wedding, the last thing she should be doing is jetting off on a honeymoon with him surely? Let alone having any initial association with him as she witnesses the fiasco unfolding.
