4. In Your Face L.A.
A major draw to the series was that Fear would be set in the iconic Los Angeles. One question many TWD fans ask about the parent show is: 'What happened to the rest of the country?' Breaking away from the Georgia countryside in the south east provided the writers with a chance to delve into a major metropolitan area and stay there, but I think we get the idea by now. Some fans have noted that the Downtown L.A. skyline is never far from view. Every panning shot seems to contain the towering skyscrapers, and the characters always seem to be referencing the city purely to make a point that the show is set there. It's not a major issue, but with TWD, Atlanta isn't pushed in your face to the same extent, and fans would probably rather see a story playing out rather than a skyline.
