7 Ridiculous Sounding TV Cross-Overs We Demand To See

5. Monk Meets House

houseMonk: A drama mystery comedy series which aired on the USA network, it followed private detective Adrian Monk, who was removed from the police force due to his OCD and many phobias (including bacteria and heights). He worked for the police or for-hire, and along the way kept trying to investigate the death of his wife, the one case he could never solve, due to being "too close" to it. House: A Fox medical drama that ran for eight years. It centers on the titular Gregory House, an angry and difficult man who is a brilliant diagnostician. The main focus of each episode is a patient with a confusing illness, and House's attempts to figure out exactly what the sickness and treatment is for each case, sometimes resorting to very unethical means of deducing their problem. The Crossover: Adrian Monk checks into the hospital with a genuine sickness, and must be diagnosed by House. While there, however, he begins to suspect a murder has been committed and is being covered up. House meanwhile, gets sick of Monk constantly trying to leave his room to investigate, and resorts to things such as placing a ring of dirt around Monk's bed to keep him in.
