7 TV Shows That Improved In 2019 (And 3 That Got Worse)

2. Fear The Walking Dead

It's hard to imagine that there was ever a time in which Fear The Walking Dead produced one of the greatest seasons in the entire Walking Dead universe simply because it's fallen so much in quality over the last two years that it has completely lost sight of everything that it ever was.

It was never a perfect show, but it had ironed out its mistakes in the admittedly brilliant third season, eclipsing its glacial parent show to become its own entity. Unfortunately, the-powers-that-be thought that meant it should become its glacial parent show instead.

Replacing the unique and compelling duo of Madison and Nick with The Walking Dead's mind-numbingly dull Morgan wasn't a clever idea at the time, and it certainly has aged well either. With each passing episode, Fear becomes a more intolerable version of the show that started it all without anything of its own to say. Nothing about this show suggests that it needs to be on the air anymore and it's just another chance to see how badly the universe messed up one of its most intriguing characters - and, more importantly, its most intriguing show.
