First appeared in: Spearhead from Space (1970) Revived series comeback in: Rose (2005) These merciless killing machines bring a whole new meaning to the term "price war" and, although they've only predominately featured in two stories to date, they're sure to go down in history for being the ones who started it all. Well, as far as the revived series is concerned, anyway. First introduced in the Third Doctor's debut adventure, Spearhead from Space, they were reenlisted to wreak yet more high street havoc in the show's 2005 televisual comeback when an army of shop window dummies were taken over by the Nestene Consciousness who was using living plastic to take over the world. Only in Doctor Who, eh?
