First appeared in: Terror of the Zygons (1975) Revived series comeback in: The Day of the Doctor (2013) Doctor Who marked its momentous 50th anniversary back in 2013 and the feature-length extravaganzathon wouldn't have been complete without the inclusion of a beloved Classic Series foe. Enter the Zygons! It was long overdue, too, since they hadn't been seen on screen for over 30 years. Just in case The Day of the Doctor wasn't mind boggling enough already, what with two Doctors, the reveal of a secret incarnation that nobody had even known about and an abdunance of overlapping storylines, the chaotic confusion was pushed to a whole new level thanks to the Zygons and their expertly escalating shape-shifting shenanigans. It's just been announced that they'll be back in Series 9, too, so the double trouble is only just beginning. Poor Osgood.
